- Addy has been taking weekly golf lessons with Aunt Amy for the last month. She gets to go with her friend Emma. They sure have a good time each week and Addy's swing is coming along really well.
- Thursday at Girl Scouts we picked up trash around out neighborhood. I didn't think the girls would get too much but surprisingly they pickup up around four bags full. I'm proud of my sweet Girl Scouts!
- Friday was 'Stay and Play' at Addy's school. Brynn and Bodee were very excited to go. You can see Brynn in the background on the climbing tower. Don't judge Bodee's jammies. He loves to wear pjs and some days it's just not worth the fight:)
- Since Brynn first started the preschool year she earned 10 nickles each week for reading 10 books. She saved all her nickles and she earned $18.00 over the past school year. She was so excited to turn it all in and get her cash!
- Silly kids just hanging around!
- Bodee found our snowman getup and put on a little show for us this week. He ran around singing "Once There Was a Snowman" and telling us he was Santa Claus and saying "ho, ho,ho". What a goof troop! He is a really funny kid!
- Friday Todd got home from work a little early and we went plant shopping so landscape our home and plant our vegetable garden. On Saturday we spent the whole day working on the yard. The kids kept busy just playing outside all day. Here they are picnicking outside. I'll have to take a picture of our flowers once they start growing a bit and looking a bit fuller.
- Late Saturday afternoon Todd took the kids swimming to the outdoor pool since it opened this weekend. They didn't last too long since it was super cold but they were so happy to have their first swim of the summer.
- Sunday evening we went for a little drive. We ended up visiting Pleasant Grove and Todd's grandmother's grave. At the grave site we also visited this war memorial. It was good to discuss with the kids the meaning of this holiday weekend. After PG we drove down to Provo and did a bit of the cemetery tour with Todd's parents and aunts and uncles. I do love our Memorial Day traditions. It turned out to be a late night but just spending time with our kids is totally worth it.
- We've been having pretty busy weeks these last few months but the month is already flying by.
- The kids have been all about friends. Everyday. They always want to hang out and play with the neighborhood kids all the time. I'm so glad they feel so comfortable in our neighborhood and they have so many wonderful friends to play with.
- Friday night our ward put on a Progressive Dinner. We offered to host so we had all three courses at our house with three different couples over each course. Todd and I had the best time and we all laughed a lot the whole night:) Good neighbors we have!
- Sunday was Mother's Day! My kids made me lots of cute pictures and art work. They really tried to make the day special. Todd on the other hand had to do a slight make up the following Sunday:)
- I love being a mother! Although it is hard and exhausting I couldn't imagine my life without each of my sweet kiddos. They bring so much joy to my heart. I am so grateful my Heavenly Father had entrusted me to raise these sweet kids.

- Kids at the park this week. Bodee is already trying to climb the huge tower at Neptune Park:) I'm in big trouble!
- Brynn just being my funny, crazy four year-old!
- So my blogging has been off for the last few weeks and it's been so long I can't remember exactly what we did each week. Here are some of the highlights.
- Brynn went on a field trip for preschool to the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point. Bodee and I were lucky enough to go with her and help chaperon. It was fun to meet some of the kids she always talks about from preschool and they loved getting ice cream afterwards.
- Spring arrived! I loved our trees blossoming. It has been so nice to feel the warm sun!
- Soccer! Soccer! Soccer! Every Saturday is all about soccer since Brynn plays in the morning and Addy plays in the afternoon. Brynn plays so well. She has scored multiple times every game and is super aggressive. It's so fun watching her play! Addy has also scored a goal this season and although she's not as aggressive as Brynn she is having a good time playing. I am coaching Addy's team and it's been a really fun time.
- I think Addy cares more about talking with her friends and looking cute than the actual game some days:)
- At the end of April we tore up the floor on our main level and had a family friend put down laminate wood flooring. It was A LOT of work to tear it all up but Todd and I actually had a pretty good time doing it together. The hardest part was keeping the kids away from the staples sticking out of the flooring. I was super grateful we had someone else install the flooring.
- Grandpa let us borrow his cars one weekend. The kids had a blast and drove them all day. Bodee learned how to drive pretty darn well.
- A new clogging studio opened up in our town. I clogged all growing up so I was super excited for the girls to try it when they gave a free lesson at the school. They LOVED it but we decided to wait until August to start lessons. Hopefully we'll have some great cloggers pretty soon.
- One night this month we were invited to a game night with some neighbors. Todd and I really enjoyed our night getting to know a few other couples we didn't know so well. It was a great invite.
- Todd and I were also able to take his parents out to dinner this month for his Dad's birthday gift. We not only devoured our steak but we really had the best time talking with his parents (without kids!). I couldn't ask for better in-laws!
- Bodee just dunking the basketball. This is just how he rolls!
- My good friend Elizabeth had her sweet baby girl Sulia and Bodee adores the little baby. One day he was all about taking care of Sulia. He got her books, put stickers all over her clothes, and got her a bottle.
- Bodee and I at one of the freezing cold soccer games:) It's spring!
- Bodee just couldn't take it anymore. It fell asleep one day completely bent over on the couch.
- We went to the park one day and Bodee taught himself to climb up and down the tower all by himself. Go Bodee!
- Spring Break this week! Yay! It was so nice to have a break from the norm and enjoy time with the kids. I did have to work a few hours everyday but Friday but the kids didn't mind it too much since I had fun teenage girls come each day. Since I was working I told them we could do two fun things this week.
- On Monday I used my last Chuck E. Cheese deal I bought months ago and took the kids over to Sandy. Bodee was SO happy when we pulled into the parking lot. He really loves that place. He was still scared of Chuck E. when the big mouse started walking around but he was all about the tokens and tickets. The girls are getting really good at getting tickets now so it's kind of fun to see them figure out how to get the most tickets they can.
- Other things we did over spring break; library, bike rides, parks, and playing with friends.
- Friday I took the kids to do the other "fun thing" of the week. They chose to go to Kangaroo Zoo and jump on the inflatables. It was the first time I realized I am finally at the stage where I can let the kids run and play and I don't have to follow a toddler around. Bodee was able to keep up with the girls just fine and they definitely watched out for him. It was great! I read while the kids played!
- Saturday and Sunday were all about General Conference. The kids did well and listened to a bit of each session. They did have fun playing games from their conference kid packet. I know it's good for them to listen to the prophet and apostles and learn from the talks that were given. I always appreciate the things I learn from the talks given. Conference always reminds me that I can be a better, more righteous mother, wife, and person.
- Of course the kids get ADD after a little while so we took the kids on drives and to the park between sessions.
- We had a couple of sick kids and a sick dad this week. Brynn ended up having a double ear infection and Bodee just had a cold all week. This meant some long nights with Bodee. Ugh! By Wednesday Todd wasn't feeling well and by Friday he even went to the doctor's and found out he had strep. He was pretty much wiped out the entire weekend.
- Friday was the last day of school before spring break so Friday night was movie night with the kiddos. They're happy watching any kid movie from the Red Box. Love it!
- Since Bodee missed the Easter Hunt at Macey's I took the kids early to Smiths for another candy sweep. All the kids had a good time and Bodee even went in his pajamas. (Don't judge me! The rest of us were dressed;) We also pretty much have enough candy til the end of summer.

- After some cleaning and yard work Saturday morning we headed over to Grandma's for her annual Easter Party! Todd was so sick he went home to sleep so I stayed with the kiddos at Grandmas. Once again the party was rockin' and the kids had a super time.
- I love this picture of Bodee.
- Sunday was Easter! The girls always get up before Bodee so they got to see their baskets first. The Easter Bunny brought the girls knee and elbow pads for their roller skates, a little bit of candy and a jumping, twirling, foot jumper thingy:)
- Kids in their Easter Sunday outfits.
- Egg dying on Sunday afternoon. They kids did really well this year. I can tell they're getting older and are so much more independent on projects and crafts such as this.
