• Monday night for Family Home Evening we got out the backyard fire pit and made s'mores. It was a good time but I'm not gonna lie...sometimes things get kind of hard with a two year old...like fire and sharp pointy sticks:)

• Tuesday, Marci (the co-leader) and I took our Girl Scouts out for an activity! These girls earned a fun day so we started with lunch at Chili's (where the girls had perfect manners) and then headed over to Jump On It! The girls all loved their day out and Marci and I had some fun girl time while the girls played.
• That night I was able to have a girl night with some of my old college roommates. I love how you can not see someone for year and then pick up with no problem. Those ladies are terrific! (Mindy, Emily, Janelle, and Nicole)
• I got to watch our favorite Tongi kids this week. Look at this sweet little girl. Brynn could not get enough of Miss Sulia! 

• I potty trained Bodee this week! Finally! He was definitely ready for real underwear and got the hang of it pretty quickly. I'm so excited not to have to buy diapers for the first time in seven years! Yay!
• How Addy wraps her foot in the seat belt to the point where it's cutting off circulation and she seriously can't get it out...I'll never know!

• Saturday we hiked to Battlecreek Falls. Both Dane and Chris came with us and it was a beautiful day! The falls were much bigger than I thought they would be and the hike was a perfect distance for the kids.

• After the hike we had lunch at The Purple Turtle. I love all the old time local food stops!
• Brynn and Bodee (with his big boy underwear on!) Crazy kids!

• Looks like all our kids love the Chinese culture!

• All of our kids LOVE having Uncle Dane around for the summer. They love to play, wrestle, snuggle, and just ask him questions nonstop like "where are you going?", "when will you be home?", "you have homework?"...I'm so glad my kids are able to get to know their Uncle for this time and Dane has been especially generous in offering to babysit for us so we can go on dates!
