July 14th, 2013

  • This is just a typical day at the Bassett house! Bodee has his sisters wrapped around his finger.
  • Tuesday was the first day of our new youth city tennis clinic. The first day was a success and Addy liked it a lot. It's fun to see a program we've been working to organize come together.
  • Wednesday was our yearly trip to Camp Jeremiah Johnson with our 22  10-11 year old Activity Day Girls! I love these girls and we all had the best time. My car even got me to stop for kong ice cream cones on the way home, gander around the dollar store, and bust a move to all the hit songs on the radio in the car. Good times!
  • On Thursday morning I dropped Addy off at Camp Trefoil, a Girl Scout Camp up Provo Canyon. She stayed for two nights and she didn't even know anybody else at the camp. I was nervous to let her go by herself but she was brave and had such a great time she can't wait to go back next year. She loved the food, the games, the horses, and the arts and crafts. I just love the wonderful experiences Addy has gotten from Girl Scouts.
  • Friday night Todd and I were given tickets to the Bluebird Cafe at Sundance. (Thanks Amy and Milo!) It's an outside dinner and show with the entertainers being songwriters that have written hits for big artists. It was amazing and fun and entertaining. Todd and I really enjoyed ourselves.

  • On Saturday the kids had some major water fights with their friends Emma and Zach! Good friends, good neighbors.
