Brynnlee

I was going to wait exactly a year until I posted again, but something got into me and here I am, blogging my little heart out! What a year it has been. So much has happened I really can't even begin to write all the details except for one...Brynnlee! What an absolute sweetie. She has been a wonderful addition to our family. One little smile from her melts my heart!

I love being a mom! The little things that happen each day really add up. Smiles. I love yous.(without being promted) Kissing the hurts. The laughs. Snuggling in bed each morning, all four of us. Parks and swimming. Hugs and Brynn still at the age where she wants to be held and loved all the time! I am so grateful for such a wonderful, supportive husband and two beautiful daughters.

Okay, so I'm done with the cheesy stuff. But life is good! I'm ready for the holidays to come. What a great time of year...especially with a two year old. If Halloween was a preview of things to come, it will be so fun! Addy LOVED trick or treating. And once she realized she got candy at every house, before the candy was even in her bag she'd say "next house!" The holidays sure do become magical with little kids around.

Now that my blog is up and running again, it will be updated frequently...I promise!

Some Halloween Pics!

Addy did not like Grandpa's costume! It scared her!

COULD IT BE? YES, IT'S TRUE! BASSETTS ARE HAVING NUMBER 2!
Baby Bassett: Coming the 4th of July, 2008
We feel so blessed to be having another child. We're the luckiest family in the world!

Carving Pumpkins!

So we were a little late on the pumpkin carving and once it got started Adalyn got bored after we took the guts out so all we have is one pumpkin cleaned out with no face! The other two pumpkins are still fully intact! Adalyn was fascinated by the guts though and took great pleasure in sticking her hand in the pumpkin to try and catch some seeds. She was pretty grossed out once she realized what got her hands and would cry until I wiped it off. Then, once again she would dip her hand back in!

The Zipper Problems

She has a hard time keeping zippers up...I hope it doesn't last long!

Halloween 2007!

This was Addy's first year to really get to Trick or Treat! We all went to Grandma and Grandpa Bassett's for Halloween night and so she was able to get some great candy. Although she loves candy, I think she had more fun taking the candy in and out of the bucket. She especially loved to do this at Trent and Whitney's because they had BIG bucket of fun candy! She was an adorable monster and Halloween turned out to be a great night!

Red Butte Gardens!

This last month I have slacked quite a bit on the blog! Back on October 22 we went to the Red Butte Garden's Garden After Dark. It was full of Halloween lights, magic and costumes! Todd even got his first tattoo there but it smeared before we even left so it looked pretty funny when it dried! Addy had her first winter coat experience and she had a hard time moving in the stroller because it was so bulky. The last picture is of Todd and Addy after they had made masks at one of craft stops. It was a great FHE for all of us! Many more memories to come!
