- Not many pictures this week but here are some highlights.
- Monday was spent taking Brynn to the doctor for her two massive ear infections, then shopping at Target while her prescription was getting filled.
- Tuesday we went to Ikea for a free lunch and the girls could play in kid land for an hour. I then took Bodee up to the toy area and he played with the little kitchen and train table for the entire hour. He just loved it!
- On Wednesday we joined our neighborhood 'Wednesday Getaway' group and went to the free splash pad in Herriman. (We weren't able to swim this week because of Brynn's ear infections so this was second best!) I spent the rest of the day cleaning the camping trailer from the previous weekend.
- Thursday afternoon I had an Activity Days activity. We planned a water party which turned out great! Then we picked up our niece Josie to come babysit while I met Todd at his work and then we went to the American Fork Temple for our monthly temple trip. Afterwards we had a little dinner date at Subway. This is the second time Josie has come to babysit for us and the kids LOVE her!
- Nothing very exciting happened on Friday.
- Saturday we went up to the Park City Outlets and all the kids got new Nikes for the upcoming year. Bodee loved his new shoes and would not take them off all day long. After shopping we ate at the Dairy Keen and then headed over to Jordanelle State Park for the family reunion on Cathy's side. We got there at the end but it was still so nice to see some of Todd's family. We spent a few hours up there and ended up taking the jet skis as well as Hogan and Josie home.
- Sunday...Addy's front tooth came out! and Todd was sick all day...poor guy:( If you can believe it the Tooth Fairy FORGOT to come on Sunday night. Uh oh! Bad Tooth Fairy! Luckily it remember on Monday night.

- Family Updates:
- Boden is talking like crazy! He will repeat almost anything. He says all the names in our family, please, thank you, you're welcome, Spiderman...the list just goes on and on. He loves to wrestle his sisters, chase them like a monster and loves to play rough with his dad. Bodee likes to pretend he's a dog and make loud growls like lions, and tigers, and bears.(Oh my!) He also really likes Lady, Grandpa Bassett's dog. I love it when he gives kisses:) Boden also loves to eat treats!
- Brynn is still the ham in the family. She does what she wants when she wants and is definitely a leader. We've had to discuss the differences in telling stories and telling the truth as of late. Brynn and Todd love to sit together and listen to music and sing together. She wants her hair in a ponytail everyday and loves to swim. Brynn is sensitive and feels really bad when she gets in trouble. (Which of course makes us feel bad.) Although she is always ready to put big sister Addy in her place if needs be.
- Addy is such a smart, intelligent almost 6 year old. She really is a great helper and friend to me. She is always saying funny little things and I can tell her mind is always working. She has started to really listen in on Todd and my conversations so we've had to be more careful about what we say around her:) She is reading chapter books regularly now and is always so sweet to read to her siblings.
- I haven't blogged about his yet because this blog is about our family and I didn't want to turn it into a weight loss/marathon blog but this is a huge part of Todd's and my current life. I have been working to lose weight and get healthy since May 7th. I have currently lost 15lbs but I really wish I knew how much muscle I have gained. These last few weeks I haven't lost any weight just maintained since I've had family in town, then camping, etc. but I am learning it still just as much effort to maintain as it is to lose. I am also training for the St. George Marathon which takes place in 9 1/2 weeks. This past Saturday I ran 13 miles in under two hours so my training is going well! Hopefully the next two months will fly by since my mileage is going up, up, up! Todd has also been changing his lifestyle habits since June 4th. He has also lost 15 lbs but as with me has only lost a couple of pounds the last few weeks because we've been a little more lenient. We both can see a really positive change in our marriage since we've been working on this goal together! I sure love Todd and I'm grateful we are always able to support each other and help better one another.
