- First week of summer! This meant chores, reading, swimming, basketball, soccer, cousins...and of course...Girl Scout Day Camp! The girls had a great time this year!
- Monday night we met up with the Ross Family at the Farm at Thanksgiving Point. It was totally empty! The kids loved it and loved spending time with the Ross kids.
- Cambree and Chrislyn came up from St. George this week to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa. Unfortunately, because of day camp and sports the girls really didn't get to see each other much until Friday. Chris, Cathy, Amy, and I took all the girl cousins to Seven Peaks. They have a terrific time, even though the water was COLD! They even got to stop at McDonalds on the way home and have dinner together.
- Sad! Cambree and Josie are missing from the picture...but they were there too!
- Friday night while the girls were at Seven Peaks, Todd took Bodee on his first Father/Son camping trip. They loaded up and headed up American Fork Canyon. They obviously did lots of 4-wheeling and even found a dear that had just been hit. Todd had the best time with Bodee. He can't wait to take him again!
- Saturday was the last day of the spring soccer season. I really enjoyed coaching Addy's team this year. I could tell they really improved over the season!
- Thanksgiving Point had a D-Day tribute for the weekend. I took the kids over and they got to see a couple army trucks used on D-Day. A half-track and a jeep. I gave the kids a mini-lesson on D-Day and they thought the trucks were pretty cool.
- The girls (and Emma) have started taking weekly golf lessons from Amy again this summer. Todd took all the girls out on Saturday night and played a few holes. They are coming along nicely!
- Monday was Memorial Day. Todd wanted to honor Uncle Craig since this was the first Memorial Day he wasn't there to give the tour. It was sweet of him to put together a breakfast (Eli, Craig's son, wanted to go to Cracker Barrel) and then we headed over to Provo Cemetery and Uncle Mike gave the tour.
- Selfie at Cracker Barrel
- After touring the Provo Cemetery, we headed down to Spanish Fork Cemetery with Chris and Cathy. Todd and Bodee visiting with a Deverl:)
- Then we had lunch at the Art City Trolley..cool grandpa!
- Thursday was the Riverview Dance Festival. I thought Todd took pictures but all he took were videos so I have nothing to show but the girls were cute at ever. The kindergartners danced to a country song and the 2nd graders danced to 'High School Musical'. So adorable!
- Friday was the last day of school! I can't believe it is already over. These cute ladies are growing up so fast!
- This weekend we got a babysitter for the kids and went out to dinner with the Rosses. We hadn't seen them in a long time and I hadn't even seen their cute baby girl yet so it was a really nice evening. What a great couple to spend time with!
- Guess who learned to ride a two wheeler this week? This kid is such a stud!!
-
- This week was busy just getting back in the swing of things after being gone to Virginia.
- The new Children's Museum opened up at Thanksgiving Point so I took the kiddos over there with Merri Hackett. They really loved it!
- The girls have been busy this week finishing up the last couple of weeks of school. They also tried a tumbling class and loved it so they are going to start taking weekly lessons.
- Friday night Todd and I signed the kids up for 'Parent's Night Out' at Gymcats (the tumbling gym). It was a hit and we loved having a long date night out!
- Saturday, Bodee was invited to Chuck E. Cheese for Emerson's birthday. Cute boys!
- Saturday night Todd and I attended the wedding of some friends in our ward, Jenee and Ryan. The wedding was at Talon's Cove Golf Course. It was a beautiful day and we are so happy for them.
- Big news of the week??? We bought a VAN...AND I LOVE IT! It really is everything we have been looking for. Todd is so good to me and gets me pretty much everything I really do ask for. Love him!
- I bought Bodee an umbrella and he called it his 'hooker'...because of the handle at the end. He's a funny kid!
- On Thursday night I flew out to Washington D.C., met up with Gerren at the airport around 11:30pm and we drove down three hours to Mom and Dad's house (in the pouring rain!). Mom and Dad were even waiting up for us when we got in at 3am. It was so good to see them both. I had been so worried about my Dad since his stroke so it was great to see how well he is recovering.
- Friday, Gerren and I went for a run and then Mom, Dad, Gerren and I went to Panera for lunch and then to a movie.
- On Saturday we all (including Dane) walked around Smithfield and saw the sights and went to the farmer's market. We then drove up to Chesapeake Bay, which was a beautiful drive and over some amazing bridges and ate at 'The Great Machipongo Clam Shack'. Fun times with the family!
- Dad gave Gerren the infamous paddle from Grandma Mosley. I just had to take a picture so I wouldn't forget what it looked like. This paddle was a big deal when we were kids.
- One of favorite things about visiting Virginia (besides lots of relaxing, reading, eating, and talking with my fam) was playing game each night just like the Mosleys do! I even beat Dad, Dane and Gerren at Settlers of Catan once! We also played Euchre...reminder for future reference...try NOT to be Dane's partner (he's not so good:)
- Oh! The other funny part of the trip was Gerren and I trying to disable Dane's phone! Hahaha! He's just so easy to get riled up!
- On Sunday, after church, I got a few pictures with my dear parents. I really love and appreciate these two. They sure did raise me well.
- Sunday afternoon we drove around Norfork and saw some of the shipyards. We parked and saw the USS Wisconsin. It was seriously cool. We also drove down to Virginia Beach and I put my feet in the Atlantic Ocean. A very enjoyable day!
- Monday morning Gerren and I left Carrolton and drove back up to D.C. We got into the city a little early so we could walk around and see some of the sights. I had never walked about D.C. before so I loved it!
- George Washington Memorial
- I had a great trip. I loved spending time with my mom, dad, brother, and sister. I love them so much and am so grateful they are part of my life.
- While I was gone...
- Todd took the kids to Sonny Bryans.
- And out for the first Shaved Ice of the year!
- They also had their first water balloon fight of the season:)
- Hahahaha! When Todd texted me this picture he put "nice jugs!"
- I caught Bodee and Emers playing the iPad this week. My favorite part of this picture is that both of their tummies are sticking out. They look like little old men with their guts hanging out:)
- On Saturday was the annual Riverview 5k. I couldn't run this year since I'm on the executive board I had to help run it. Brynn had a soccer game right after the 5k Fun Run so her and Bodee ran that and then Todd took her over to her soccer game.

- Addy actually ran the 5k by herself! She ran along side friends but neither Todd nor I were there to help her along. I was so proud of her for pushing herself to finish! So sad I didn't get a picture of her finishing!
- Sunday was Mother's Day! I woke up to breakfast in bed, some adorable posters, and lots of pictures and cards. I seriously have the sweetest kiddos ever! Todd even got me beautiful flowers and a knife set. (I've been wanting one forever!)
- I am so grateful to be a mother to three amazing children. Sometimes I can't believe Heavenly Father trusts me to raise these kids but I do know being a mother is the most important job I can have so I will continue to do my best and raise my children in righteousness. Todd and kids really made my day!

- A huge highlight of the week is that Aunt Sarah and Uncle Gary came to visit! Sarah's dear friend got married so we were lucky enough to spend time with them between wedding events! Friday we went out to dinner at Cafe Rio and then had a rockin' dance party back at our house. Saturday was the wedding but Sari and Gary were nice enough to cheer Brynn on at her soccer game. On Sunday we have lunch after church, hung out for the day and then went to watch Mr. Sherman and Peabody.
- My favorite quote of the weekend was when Bodee told Gary "You have to share your drink" and proceeded to take Gary's drink from him and helped himself. At least he's learned to use the sharing concept when it's convenient for him:)
- This monster was at the movie theater and the kids thought it was so cool...or gross.
