March 24th, 2013

  • Spring soccer registration is a never ending road I'm learning. I worked a lot again this week and the days just keep flying by.
  • Monday was Todd's dad's birthday. We headed over there that night for a little party and had a great time talking to his parents and siblings for a couple of hours. We are lucky to have such a great Dad!
  • Late Monday night my super great friend Elizabeth had her baby girl! Awww! I loved going  over the hospital this week to meet little Sulia. She is beautiful and I'm so happy for the Tongi family!
  • Friday night Todd and I got to go on a date night to the temple. We hadn't been for a few months so it was nice to carve out time for one of the important things in our lives. I love kneeling across the alter participating in sealings and remembering the day Todd and I were sealed and all the wonderful words that were spoken to us that day. I'm so glad he's with me.
  • On Saturday morning I took the two girls to Macey's grocery store for an Easter Egg Hunt. After finding candy and eggs and getting prizes their baskets were full. Bodee wasn't feeling too good so he stayed home and slept.

  • Since I had been working the past eight Saturdays we decided to take the kids for a night away to the Homestead Resort in Midway. We thought we'd take the bikes and hike and enjoy the outdoors but...there was a snow storm so we changed plans a little.
  • First we took the kids to The Croods. They loved it! Bodee has no problem sitting all through a movie. He just laughed and talked the characters on screen. My favorite part was when Todd told me how nice the theater was. Since we usually only go to the dollar theaters he couldn't believe how clean and comfortable a real theater is:)
  • After the movie we packed the car up and headed up the canyon toward Midway. We stopped for nachos in Heber and as soon as we could we checked into the hotel and jumped in the pool. The girls love playing with their Dad in the pool. And Todd is pretty much a super dad with the girls.
  • After swimming for a few hours we went into Heber to eat at the Dairy Keen. Shakes! Yum! Here are the goofy kids at the Dairy Keen.

  • The girls were up really early to swim again. Thank goodness my super husband was more than happy to take them. We packed up and headed into town. At breakfast at Chicks Diner and spent the rest of the day enjoyed quiet family time at home. With naps:)
  • After so many crazy weekends it was so enjoyable to lay back, relax, and have some really fun and memorable family time. These kind of weekends always remind me how good I've got it!
