- This was one of those weeks where I felt really busy...just not doing big important things. Hmm, guess that's pretty much my life for the next 18 years:)
- It was "Minimal Monday" at school and that meant Addy was out by 12:30pm. I decided to take the kids up to Salt Lake City so Addy could drop off the donations her GIrl Scout Troop bought to give to Primary Children's Hospital. It was a good service/learning experience for the kids to visit Primary Children's again.
- We also stopped by and visited our friends at the U Housing for a couple of hours. I seriously love the ladies that live there and while I don't miss the apartment, I do miss spending time with all those awesome ladies.
- Tuesday the school held a parent meeting for all the kids in the Chinese program. They showed a tape of the kids in Chinese class. It was amazing to see them learning and participating in a lesson with no English spoken. I am super proud of Addy and how well she has adapted to this immersion program.
- This is what my kids do when we go to the dollar store and pick up FBI gear. Handcuffs and toy guns. At least it kept them busy for a couple of hours.

- Thursday was our first Girl Scout troop meeting for the new year. Yay! We are excited for the new girls that have joined our troop and now that I understand how it all works a little better it should be great year.
- On Friday family was invited to the school for recess and lunch. Very cool for Brynn and fun for me to see Addy with her classmates.
- Friday night Todd and I went on a date thanks to our babysitting swap. We walked around the Harvest Festival and Farmer's Market at Thanksgiving Point and then grabbed a bite to eat at JCW's. With life so busy and three little kids I really appreciate any alone time I get to spend with my husband. He's a pretty good guy:)

- After lots of chores on Saturday and two soccer games where Addy saved the ball as goalie and Brynn scored two goals I was able to attend the Relief Society Broadcast. There is always something said in this broadcast that I need to hear and can make my life better. President Eyring reminded me to serve others more. Serve the women in my ward as much as I can.
- Sunday was special because Aunt Sarah came to visit! She brought with her goodies from Carlo's Bakery. This bakery is located in Hoboken, NJ and is featured on the show "Cake Boss". They make amazing cakes on the show and my kids love watching what they create. Sarah brought with her a chocolate cake and a type of pastry called a lobster tail. SO YUMMY! The kids loved spending the evening with their Aunt and showing her all the cool things they can do and say.
