Not too many pictures this week but it doesn't mean it wasn't fun.
- Addy's school celebrated their 100th day of school on Thursday. They asked for all the kids to make shirts with 100 things on them. We decided on these little pompoms. The R on the front stands for Riverview and the 100 on the back is pretty self explanatory. It was fun to make the shirt together and she was very excited to wear it to school.
- Addy sure loves her little brother.
- On Saturday, Addy and I participated in a Girl Scout Valentine's Craft Day. We went up to Salt Lake with three other moms/daughters in our troop. It turned out to be a great time. We got to make four crafts. Hair clips, Magic 8 jar, sparkly necklace, and a Girl Scout memory board. Afterwards we had lunch at Chick-Fil-A and let the girls play and the moms talk. It really was a fun day to spend one-on-one time with Addy.
- Wednesday we met up with Elizabeth and Matai for storytime at the library. The girls just love the Tongi boys and it made storytime much more fun for them.
- On Saturday we also got to attend the kid's cousin Samantha's baptism. We are so proud of her and the good choice she made. We appreciate her being such a good example to our children.
- After the baptism our Addy and Brynn got a cousin's day! They played with most of their cousins all afternoon and into the evening at Grandma's house. When Addy walked in and saw Chrislyn (who lives in St. George) they just screamed and hugged each other for a couple of minutes. I love that they are so close with their cousins. Afterwards we met Grandma at McDonalds and let them all play.
- On Sunday, Todd and I were called to be primary teachers for the Valient 8 class. I'm excited to spend time and get to know the kids in our new class!
- A couple of cute things Brynn said this week:
- Hugging Addy really tightly "You know why I hug you so tightly? Because I love you so much!"
- Sitting with Bodee on the bottom stair with her arm around him "You are my sugar dog, Bodee!"
- Serious negotiator:
- Me: Brynn go pick out one thing for show and tell at preschool.
- Brynn: Six things!
- Me: One.
- Brynn: Five things.
- Me: One.
- Brynn: Four things.
- Me: One.
- Brynn: Three things.
- Me: Fine, Two.
- Brynn; (Happily) Okay, Two!
