This past Tuesday Addy's preschool went on a field trip to the fire station. I was able to come along as one of the chaperones. The kids LOVED it! They got to practice "Stop, Drop and Roll", get a pencil, meet the firemen and watch the firemen put on all of their gear. To top it all off the Fire Chief of the station is the grandfather of one the little girls in the preschool so they got to ride around the block in the fire truck! They never let kids take a ride in the fire truck so it was a big deal! They put the sirens on and everything. Right when it was time to leave, the fire station got a real call so we watched them get ready, get in the truck and ride away. Addy driving the fire truck.

FUN! I love preschool field trips! that is cool that they got to practice "Stop, drop, and roll" AND go on a fire truck ride! I've never heard of them doing so much with the kids.
That is awesome!!
