Today was a beautiful day so I took the girls to Farm Country at Thanksgiving Point. What a fun time! Addy loved looking at all the animals and especially loved riding the pony. Brynn wasn't too interested yet, but that is to be expected.

Brynnlee is BINKY FREE! I was so nervous to break her of this habit because I thought it would be hard, but it was easy. I just took it away cold turkey one day and it hasn't been an issue since. I really wanted to rid her of it before she turned a year old because I read she'll adapt quicker to the change. The only time I've wished for the binky was during church. She loves to make those little screams and babbles and the only thing that made her quiet was food!
Addy had a near-death experience. Yesterday the house got really quiet. I should have known something was going on but all of a sudden I heard a scream and a huge bang and then more screams! Addy had climbed her dresser to get her bracelets and the dresser tipped over on her! It was completely on top of her! Luckily, I have bulging biceps and the adrenaline was rushing so I was immediately able to pull it off of her. She said her wrist hurt but after some love she was fine a few minutes later. Scared me to death! So...our entire house will soon be bolted down!

How scary! I'm glad she's okay...it's a good thing she has a tough mama!
Hey you! I miss you and your girls!! It sounds like life is great and you're enjoying the springtime as much as we are :)

That is scary!! I've experienced that with Chase when he was under 2 years old (and our dressers are metal). I strongly believed in all things being bolted down (or dressers in the closet) after that experience! Glad to hear Addy's okay!!
i always knew those bulging biceps would come in handy (besides just looking good).
so glad that addy is okay. i love those pics of her!
congrats on getting Brynn binky free!
