Addy and Mommy went to the zoo for the first time on Friday. The monkeys were her favorite. She would point to them and then have an entire conversation in babble about them. She laughed at the monkeys too and liked that they could get right up against the glass. Addy also enjoyed the giraffe. She just stared and stared with her head back and her mouth wide open. I think the neck impressed her. Above all, she really, really loved the ice cream cone. We had a great time at the zoo.

We went to the zoo last week too! It was great and it is just more and more fun as the kids grow up. No ice cream for us this time - they closed down the ice cream store for the winter!
I haven't been to Hogle Zoo in years...until last week. Wouldn't that have been crazy if we went on the same day!!
